Conventional Fire Detection Systems
Conventional fire detection systems provide a low cost solution for smaller premises. The philosophy of a conventional system revolves around dividing the building into a number of areas called zones, the detectors and call points within each zone are then wired on dedicated circuits.
In the event of a detector or call point being triggered, the panel is able to identify which circuit contains the triggered device and thereby indicate which zone the fire alarm has come from.
It is then necessary to manually search the indicated zone to pinpoint the exact cause of the fire alarm.
Conventional fire systems from Sunfish incorporate many standard features including:
- Choice of 2,4,8, or 16 zone panel
- Coincidence detection and non-latching zone features
- Up to 32 detectors per zone with alarm delay feature
- One man walk test facility
- 72 hour standby as standard
